We stayed with this nice couple for a few days at the start of our trip and then again at the end. Great location – walking distance from central Havana, restaurants, attractions etc. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, (we easily overcame the fact that they don’t speak English) clean and nice rooms, excellent breakfast – all fresh and tasty. Highly recommended as your base in Havana!.

Ana the hostess in Habana is very friendly and most welcoming. Her breakfast is fantastic- a real standout!! The accommodation is comfortable spacious and super clean. The casa is in Habana Centro but both Habana Vieja and Malecón are easily accessed on foot. It’s very near to the Prado. Ana and Jesus made us feel like family: it was a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s an interior room without a window, but it’s right off a lovely little courtyard and the ceilings are so high it feels plenty spacious! The beds were very comfortable and we were excited it was quiet enough to sleep later in the mornings. The casa has a sign in front and a doorbell below. La dueña explains everything to you in Spanish, but her granddaughter was able to answer our questions in English through AirBnB or in person if she was home. The location is just a couple blocks from Central Park and easily walkable to Havana Vieja too! They were even kind enough to arrange our taxi to the airport! We’ll stay again!.

Isabel and Jesus are simply the people you would like to meet once you land in Havana! They are more than welcoming, they will make you feel at home and try to help you as much as they can. We never had such a huge and delicious breakfast in our ten days’ trip in Cuba. The house is super nice, spacious and comfortable. The room is clean and well decorated, has two beds and a separate bathroom, with towels and soap. The house is well located, 5 minutes walking from Capitolio, in a nice and safe neighbourhood. Il soggiorno da Ana è stata l’esperienza più autentica ed emozionante che abbiamo vissuto a Cuba. Fantastic experience!! We chose Isa y Jesus’ casa for our last few days in Cuba and it was the perfect way to enjoy Havana. A casa de Ana e Jesus é muito bem localizada, próxima dos principais pontos turísticos de Havana: Capitólio, Parque Central, Havana Vieja, Museu da Revolução, Museu de Belas Artes, Teatro Nacional, entre outros. Fizemos a maioria dos passeios a pé, com muita tranquilidade e segurança, a qualquer hora do dia ou da noite (ponto alto da cidade), o que também nos surpreendeu positivamente! A acomodação é muito boa, com cama confortável, chuveiro forte e com água quente, limpeza impecável, papel higiênico a disposição, sabonete para as mãos e banho, toalhas limpas e trocadas numa boa frequência. O quarto dispõe de ar condicionado (split) e ventilador de boa qualidade. O café da manhã é muito saboroso, vale a pena! Eles preparam tudo com muito carinho e se adaptam ao nosso paladar. Provamos a sopa de frango feita pela Ana, no jantar, e estava uma delícia!! A Ana e o Jesus nos forneceram dicas muito importantes para o nosso passeio e estavam sempre prontos para nos ajudar, quando precisamos. Estávamos com nossa filha de 5 anos e os anfitriões trataram ela com muito carinho, se preocupando com sua alimentação e seu bem estar. Isso foi muito especial, só temos a agradecer! Havana é uma cidade muito bonita e os cubanos são um show a parte! Deixamos a cidade com a certeza que agora temos uma familia em Cuba! Sentiremos saudades dos dias especiais que passamos nesta casa! This place is absolutely incredible! If you can, stay here. They are incredible hosts and always made an effort to guide us throughout the city if we had questions. We always had really fun conversations with them. Especially my parents. The house is stunning, very clean, and makes you feel like home right away. Their room has a safe so you can keep valuables and passports in there. There’s an option for them to make you breakfast and dinner. $5 USD per person for breakfast. And $8 USD per person for dinner. Worth it every time! Delicious!! Homemade Cuban food! They have a dog and a cat that keep to themselves. But they love to be petted if you enjoy them. An absolutely wonderful family! I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Havana. They do what they can to make sure your stay is amazing.

Beautiful spot. The house is gorgeous and open with high ceilings and located in a great, central location just off of the prado. I only got to stay for one night, but the host was absolutely lovely and even walked me to find a good place for dinner in the evening. Back home, I’m still missing the delicious breakfast Ana and her husband Jesús served us every morning… fresh fruit de luxe, omelettes, vegetables, toast and honey, ham and cheese, home-made fruit juices — whatever you desire🤗. Plus the Cuban dinners Ana cooks upon request: A good idea before you step into the night and hit the dance floors! Our hosts made us feel truly welcome and part of the family. Apart from food and feel: The air-conditioned rooms and the whole casa are SUPER CLEAN. As Havana can get quite sweaty, especially if you salsa a lot: In the courtyard you can hand wash and dry your laundry or use Ana’s washing machine. Last not least Casa AnaIsa is located in the center of Old Havana, within walking distance to sights and public transportation stations. Ana and her family are really the best hosts I’ve experienced in a long time! Not only did we feel the warm welcome during our whole stay, we’ve also been indulged by the excellent and abundant breakfast prepared by Jesus, Ana’s husband, every day. Ah, and those freshly squeezed juices of various local fruits every day!! Upon request Ana also offers to cook dinner – authentic home made cuban dishes for a good price. I can highly recommend to try! You will love it!
Not to forget the hard facts: the casa is in walking distance to all interesting places in Old Havana and also to the bus stop for the close by beaches in Playa del Este. The air conditioned rooms are VERY clean and the shower in the ensuite bathroom is really showering, not just dripping. All in all a cosy home in the buzzing center of Havana. Highly recommended!

We have arrived to Havana very late and after all the hours of travel we were welcomed like we arrived to our own family! Very warm and careful people! Every breakfast we had fresh fruits and empanadillas cooked for us,a part from enormous amount of outher stuff. And the house, which is exactly in the heart of Havana, is so clean and great to be in! All equipped with air condition and super clean bathroom. Moreover, before going to the airport, we could leave all the luggage and wash the sweat of Havana 🙂 so great! This was by far the best Casa during my trip to Cuba! The minute we pulled up to Ana and Ruano’s house they immediately greeted us on the street and helped us bring our luggage inside. We felt so welcomed from the start. The room was BEAUTIFUL with high ceilings which made it feel open. She cleaned the room daily and dressed the beds. She offers breakfast for 5 CUC and dinner for 8 CUC. It is SO worth it to eat at her place because she serves you more food than you could ever finish and switches up the meals daily. Her and her husband LOVE to talk which made for great conversations at dinner! One of the people traveling with me had dietary restrictions and they were very attentive to his needs and substituted foods for things he could eat. They gave us great tips for getting around Havana and restaurant recommendations. I enjoyed how clear they communicated with us and were very sincere. I will be staying here next time I come to Havana, Cuba.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato nella casa di AnaIsa e Jesus 3 notti e non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio. A causa di un ritardo del volo siamo arrivati all’1.30 di notte, preoccupati per l’orario, loro invece ci aspettavano a braccia aperte, sorridenti e con un bicchiere di succo fresco. La casa è davvero molto carina, esattamente come nelle foto, e c’era tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Disponibilissimi ad aiutarci e consigliarci. A causa di qualche incomprensione dovuta al nostro scarso spagnolo, non avevano capito che il primo giorno non saremmo ripassati da casa durante la giornata e si la signora AnaIsa si è preoccupata per noi come una mamma. La mattina seguente, non sapendo se volevamo la colazione, nel dubbio ce l’ha preparata ugualmente. Il terzo giorno siamo partiti prima dell’alba verso la nostra tappa successiva, ma lei si è comunque alzata a farci un caffè e a prepararci una piccola merenda per il viaggio. A questo proposito: le migliori empanadas mai mangiate e il miglior platano fritto di Cuba! Grazie di cuore!!

Anna and Jesus are fabulous hosts, and so friendly.. They made us feel at home from the moment we stepped out of our colectivo. The breakfasts they served were lovely and filling and they were always there to help with anything we needed. The rooms come equipped with aircon, a fan, towels and a fridge to keep your drinks cold. The rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms. They give you keys so you can come and go as you please. We had such a wonderful stay in Havana, and would highly recommended this casa to anyone looking to stay in a traditional house with a lovely Cuban family.

We had a wonderful stay at Analsa’s place in Havana! After a long ride from Trinidad, I will never forget seeing Analsa and Jesu exiting the casa and walking across the street to meet our taxi and greet us with open arms, like we were old friends. I knew at that moment we had found a very special place, and very special people. The location was perfect, just steps to Paseo de Prado and a few short blocks to the Capitol and the Malecon. Be sure to check out Chago Habana for dinner and drinks just a few blocks away. The room was larger than we expected, very comfortable, plenty of storage, and the AC worked great when needed. The bathroom is large, sparkling clean and the shower had great water pressure, truly the best showers we had in all of Cuba! Oh the breakfasts!! Fresh fruits and juices, coffee, tea, ham & cheese, empanadas, eggs cooked to order – so delicious and beautifully presented. The pan relleno we had on our last morning was delicious and Analsa brought me into the kitchen to teach me how to make it when I returned home. I was a little worried when we learned Analsa didn’t speak English, but to my surprise we got along perfectly fine with offline translator apps. The laughter and shared stories, no one would have guessed we didn’t speak the same language. Her granddaughter speaks perfect English and was so helpful and patient with us when she was there. Analsa was also very helpful arranging a taxi to Playa Santa Maria for us as well as a taxi to the airport. Cuba is beautiful and full of surprises, but we never expected the surprise of finding new friends in Analsa and her family. Oh, I can’t forget to mention on very important little guy, the family dog, Negro! What a sweetie! Highly recommend!.

Ich war bereits zum 4. Mal in Kuba und kann diese Casa wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und mehr als reichhaltig. Ich habe noch nie so gesund in Kuba gefrühstückt, wie in der Casa AnaIsa. 😊
Die Familie ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Die Casa liegt so zentral,dass man fußläufig nur 5min. bis zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten (z. B. dem Capitol) braucht.

Ci siamo trovati subito benissimo. Siamo arrivati in mattinata e ci hanno fatto subito accomodare nonostante fossimo in ampio anticipo rispetto all’orario di check-in. La camera e il bagno sono davvero molto spaziosi e tutto perfettamente funzionante. Pulizia davvero ottima! Colazione buona e abbondante. Sono stati di grande aiuto anche per prenotare il taxi per l’aeroporto dato era domenica ed era difficile trovarne uno… Inoltre, il giorno della partenza, dato che il nostro volo partiva in serata tardi, ci hanno tenuto i bagagli per tutta la giornata e ci hanno dato la disponibilità di una camera con bagno per rinfrescarci, cambiarci e rilassarci un po’ prima del lungo viaggio. Casa Anaisa was the highlight of our trip. Absolutely do not hesitate to book here! The casa is GORGEOUS, stunning plants in the courtyard, lovely colonial decor, an adorable cat and dog who hang out in the courtyard, delicious breakfast. Despite our extremely limited Spanish, Anaisa was able to transcend language barriers with her and her family’s generosity and warmth. They were truly incredible hosts—it felt like a weekend with my own grandmother. There were some rough patches on our trip to Cuba in general—thunderstorms, high winds (a tornado came through Havana), and we were stranded on the other side of town for a while. Anaisa and her husband stayed up waiting for us, and provided us with flashlights and emergency water despite losing both power and electricity during the storm. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat (get the tostones rellanos at Havana Mango, skip the famous La Guarida), where to buy cigars (if we had asked for their advice earlier, we wouldn’t have been scammed by a ‘festival’ and ‘cooperativa’!), how to get around, and arranged taxis for us. It truly felt like being welcomed to a home, and they were so so sweet and kind. I miss Anaisa and her family dearly!

Наша с мужем путешествие по Кубе длилось с 8.11.18 по 18.11.18. Брали тур в отель Melia las dunas на острове Кайо Санта Мария, но решили не ограничиваться отелем и, взяв машину в аренду, отправились в путешествие с острова в Гавану, через город Санта-Клара и Варадеро. И в самой Гаване нам посчастливилось остановиться в этом замечательном и таком кубинском гостевом доме.
Очень гостеприимные владельцы. Хозяйка дома по имени Ana была к нам очень добра, всегда беспокоилась о том, чтобы нам было комфортно.
Очень чистые и уютные номера, ванная и туалет в отличном состоянии.
Расположение гостевого дома идеально для туристов – многие достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Мы с мужем оставили машину под окнами дома ( за два кука за ней присматривали хозяева) и отправились изучать город пешком.
Завтрак (5 куков с человека) нам тоже очень понравился.
К гостям здесь относятся как к близким друзьям, очень трепетно и доброжелательно. Очень рекомендую

After a few days i called her « Mam » because she acted as good as mother for me during my trip. The cas is nice, clean. You can go there without any question, you will be well hosted.

It is the best place to stay in Hawana! Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Place is very nice, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. What’s important it’s in the city center and the price is very good for this location. Breakfasts are extremely good!To be honest, it was the best breakfast in Cuba. Thank YOU!

Casa Analsa centrally located within four blocks of the central park, five blocks from the capitol national. Run by an older couple and their son and daughter-in-law. Taxi service to and from the airport or for tours around Cuba available. Relatively quiet rooms, well appointed, clean. Amenities available,secure lock box for documents. A very helpful friendly couple who are knowledgable about Havana and other parts of Cuba.

We had a very nice stay with our kids in the center of Havana. The house is recent completely renovated and very clean. The family of the house were very helpful and were so friendly. The food was excellent. The house is on walking distance of the nice restaurants and the famous squares with the old American cars. A swimming pool is nearby (10 min walk) for families with kids. If I visit Cuba again I will for sure book this place again
